Sensei Dave’s approach to teaching Goju Ryu is that the student should do their best and that their best will improve with practice. His friendly and encouraging approach has helped a great many students over the years. As with all OTGKA instructors, Sensei Dave believes that whilst tradition is at the heart of his karate, it is an effective self defence also.
